Having a 3000 watt power inverter can really come in handy. If you're going on a camping, boating, or RV trip, it's a great way to make sure that you are able to bring along some modern amenities, even while you're "roughing it." But it's not just about comforts and luxuries. You may need to keep a unit of this size along for safety's sake. Perhaps one of your party has medication that needs to be kept refrigerated. Why might you need a 3000 watt power inverter for power? This is because there are two types of energy sources you can get, and you can't run a device designed for one power source on the other. All utility grids in the United States provide AC power, which is why most electrical devices are designed to run on AC power. They're also pretty durable, so they can "rough it" as well as you can.
