Abstract: With the development of industrial automation, PLC Driver design and development to become the most common problems encountered. Channel utilization and data collection efficiency directly affects the performance of the whole monitoring system. This article discusses the design and development PLC Driver method; details PLC driven function underlying the design and implementation; and to improve the channel utilization of several key issues. Proved able to reduce development costs and greatly improve computer monitoring system and data communication between PLC and channel utilization efficiency.
1 Introduction As computer science and technology, industrial control and other aspects of the rapid development of new technologies, using a computer monitoring system and PLC equipment on site for data exchange has been widely used. Such data exchange often has the following features, huge collection point spread, the bandwidth is narrow. As different PLC manufacturers provide field devices is not the same communication mechanism, computer monitoring software need to develop the device communication driver on the rise. This complex device driver development has the following features:
First, the upper control system with PLC data exchange between devices, applications more generally.
Second, this data communication process, the lack of a universal framework for the design, development period is long, difficult, hard to Universal.
Furthermore, under bandwidth constraints in the limited amount of data transfer a large, widespread use of low channel, system inefficiency, instability, an urgent need to significantly improve the channel utilization of the algorithm.
